At Sightline Sports Systems ("Sightline", "we", "us", or "our"), we operate our recruiting network with an unyielding commitment to security, transparency, and data minimization. This Privacy Policy governs the collection, processing, storage, and retention of data across all Sightline interfaces, web apps, and native wrappers.

1. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) Compliance

Sightline tracks student-athlete statistics, profiles, and video assets. Because many student-athletes are minors, we strictly enforce parental consent controls:

• Parent-Driven Registration: Accounts for athletes under the age of 13 must be initialized, managed, and authorized directly by a parent or authorized legal guardian.
• Data Collection Limits: We limit minor athlete tracking to essential biometric and recruitment fields (e.g., name, graduation year, sport, position, team affiliation, and verified game statistics).
• Guardian Control Rights: Parents reserve absolute rights to review, modify, restrict, or completely delete their child's profile index at any moment.

2. Data Categories & Telemetry Ingestion

We ingest several categories of data to provide high-performance recruitment pipelines:

• User-Provided Metadata: Names, official emails, mobile phone connections, institutional credentials, and high school or travel club program mappings.
• Athletic Performance Analytics: Raw and verified game metrics (e.g., goals, saves, faceoff ratios, takeaways), film captures, video highlights, and academic indicators (GPAs, standardized test ranges).
• Device & Network Identifiers: Secure system tokens, local push notification IDs, IP addresses, and session logs necessary to preserve system perimeter security and prevent fraud.

3. Data Sharing & Recruiter Exposure

Sightline is a network visibility app. Athlete information is exposed explicitly to verified target entities:

• Verified Scouting Outlets: Profiles are searchable and accessible by authenticated college coaches, scouts, and institutional program administrators.
• Organizational Oversight: Linked club directors and travel coaches access submitted logs to perform official verifications.
• Third Parties: We do not sell, rent, lease, or monetize your personal metadata or athletic profiles to independent data brokers, advertisers, or third-party networks.

4. Security, Notification Protocols, & Purge Rights

All records are isolated using database row-level encryption strategies. By initializing an account, you grant permission for Sightline to send operational transmissions via Apple APNs push architectures, cellular SMS grids, and system email relays strictly for transaction and alert loops (e.g., profile views, stat audits). To execute your right-to-be-forgotten and permanently wipe all structural profile configurations, submit an explicit electronic request to sightlineapp@proton.me.
