Built for how ice hockey recruiting works.

40,000+ high school ice hockey players nationwide, and most never get seen by the coaches looking for them. Sightline fixes that with verified stats, real film, and a direct line to recruiters.

This is NCAA only. Roughly 83,000 more student-athletes compete in the NAIA and 70,000 more in the NJCAA each year — both real pathways to college sports — though neither publishes a per-sport breakdown the way the NCAA does. College club programs add even more opportunity but aren't tracked by any single governing body, so no reliable number exists for them.

Questions About Ice Hockey on Sightline

What hockey stats are tracked separately for skaters and goalies?

Goals, assists, and plus-minus cover skaters, while save percentage is tracked for goalies, so each position's profile reflects the numbers that are actually relevant to how they're evaluated.

Can coaches search for a specific hockey position and region?

Yes, position, grad year, and region are all searchable together, letting a coach go straight to, say, 2026 defensemen in a particular state instead of browsing an entire roster of unrelated positions.

Is there a fee to build a hockey recruiting profile?

No. Creating a profile, entering stats, and showing up in coach search costs nothing. Premium is available for families who want to see who's viewed the profile and reach out to coaches directly.

Why does Sightline require coach approval on hockey stats?

A recruiter watching from afar has no way to verify a plus-minus or save percentage on their own. Coach sign-off replaces that gap with something a recruiter can actually trust.
